Voter Registration Campaign
The Hong Kong Human Rights Monitor will launch a
voter registration campaign from March to May 2004. There are
three ways you may participate:
a. Join us at
our voter registration booth in different communities.
The Monitor is going to set up voter registration
booths around the territory to sign up new voters and distribute our
voter registration leaflets (both can be downloaded from
http://www.hkhrm.org.hk/CR/action_eng.html;
but are in Chinese only). Here is our schedule:

b. Set up your
own voter registration booth in your community.
If you want to set up your own voter registration
booth, the Monitor can provide you with the voter registration forms,
leaflets, simple display boards on why we need to register as voters,
or even simple furniture. Please call Ida at 2811 4488 to see
what the Monitor can offer.
c. Distribute
voter registration forms and leaflets to your friends and families.
You can simply remind your families and friends to
register or update their voter registration information (IMPORTANT
NOTE: Wrong address might result in deletion of your voter registration
record!), and give them a copy of the voter registration form or a
Monitor’s leaflet. Please feel free to drop by the Monitor’s
office to pick up some copies.
